15 November 2017, Bangkok — Thai Union is honored to be named a winner of the 2017 SEAL Business Sustainability Awards for Organizational Impact. The SEAL (Sustainability, Environmental Achievement and Leadership) Awards recognizes organizations and leaders dedicated to making real progress on sustainable development and environmental issues.
SEAL Award winners are determined by a holistic methodology measuring applicants against established benchmark metrics that demonstrate true impact and progress towards a healthy planet and a sustainable future. Key criteria for this selection included: corporate governance, corporate sustainability strategy, supply chain initiatives, disclosure and accountability, sustainability performance metrics, and corporate citizenship and engagement.
“As one of the largest seafood companies in the world, Thai Union has fully embraced our role as a leader for positive change.
